
White Sauce Pasta
Here’s a white sauce pasta recipe for 500 grams of pasta—creamy, cheesy, and delicious!
White Sauce Pasta
Ingredients
- White Sauce Pasta
500g pasta (penne, fettuccine, or your choice)
Water for boiling
2 tsp salt
1 tbsp oil
- For the white sauce:
200 gram butter
2 tbsp all-purpose flour (maida)
4 cups (1 liter) milk (warm)
1 cup grated cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
2 tsp salt (adjust to taste)
2 tsp black pepper
1 tsp oregano
1 tsp parsley
½ tsp chili flakes (optional)
½ tsp garlic powder (or 1 tbsp minced garlic)
1 tsp white pepper
1 cup mushrooms
500 grams chicken ( julian cut)
50 mil oil
1 tsp crushed garlic
Directions
- Boil the pasta:
Bring a large pot of water to a boil.
Add oil, then add pasta and 2 tsp salt.
Cook as per package instructions (usually 8-12 minutes).
Drain, add 25 ml oil and set aside - Prepare the white sauce:
In a pan, melt butter over low heat.
Add crushed garlic and saute.
Add flour and stir continuously for 1-2 minutes until it turns light golden.
Gradually add warm milk while whisking to avoid lumps.
Cook on medium heat until the sauce thickens. - Add seasonings:
Stir in salt, black pepper, white pepper, oregano,and parsley.
Add grated cheese and mix until smooth and creamy. - Prepare chicken:
Heat oil in a pot and add crushed garlic , saute it and add chicken.
Cook chicken until it changes color.
Add salt, chili flakes, black pepper and mushrooms.
Cook for 2 more minutes. - Combine pasta & serve:
Add the shredded mozzarella cheese to hot white sauce and mix well.
In a serving dish add warm pasta then the prepared chicken and drizzle hot white sauce.
Garnish with herbs.
Serving suggestion:
Serve hot with garlic bread.
