
Quick And Crispy Fried Fish
Here’s a quick and crispy fried fish recipe for you:
Chicken Cheese Cutlets
Ingredients
4 fish fillets (pegasus or any firm white fish)
3 tbsp graham flour ( baisan)
1 tbsp cornflour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
½ tsp red chili powder
1 tbsp Red Chilli Powder
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp cumin powder
½ tsp crushed coriander
1 tsp dried fenugreek ( kasuri methi)
½ tsp chili flakes ( optional)
1 tbsp sunflower and sesame seeds
½ tsp garlic powder
¼ tsp ajwain
Oil for frying (vegetable or canola)
Directions
- Prepare the coating:
In a bowl, mix graham flour, cornflour, salt, red chili powder, black pepper, cumin powder, coriander, dried methi, chili flakes, sunflower and sesame seeds, garlic powder and ajwain. - Make the batter:
Mix well all the ingredients with water to make a smooth paste - Coat the fish:
Dip fish fillet into the prepared mixture, then coat it well. - Heat the oil:
In a pan, heat about 1 inch of oil over medium-high heat (350°F/175°C). - Fry the fish:
Carefully place the fish in hot oil and fry for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy. - Drain & serve:
Remove the fish and place it on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
